Bill Payment

Effective in 2026, The Rye Water District has initiated new rates and a new billing system. The new rate structure has changed to quarterly billing and a quarterly allotment. The new rates can be accessed under the Customer Service tab on our website. 

Existing customers who have signed up for autopayment or online payments through our old billing system will need to sign up with our new billing system - gWorks - to continue to do so. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this transition, we cannot just update banking and online account information to the new system.


Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill. 

Payment Drop-off Location

You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally busy. 

 Online Bill Pay

To pay your bill through our online service please click on the pay bill now button to sign up for online payments. First time user's will need to set up an account prior to paying online. When creating your account you will need your water service account/s number which can be found on your bill. You will also need our Municipal code which is (RyeWaterDistrict) for the bill pay account set up.
